Good Morning Cypressssss Texassssss!

I hope I have some The Office fans reading this blog post because my title is so Micheal Scott! Blog Talk Radio was one of the easier assignments for me so far. I am not sure if this is because I am great with gum bumpage (talking) or that I am becoming more adept to using technology. Regardless of the 'why', I sincerely had a great time using Spreaker to record four books for a student. I have never listened to a Podcast prior to this investigation and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to a few and having the opportunity to see how the use of Podcasts would be a valuable resource in my classroom. I think this was the perfect time to be aware of Podcast because I found some spooky Podcasts that I want to have my students listen to. The Podcast world seems parallel to my current Youtube world where I spend a lot of time getting ideas and inspired for things that interest me. I think Podcast is a great way to introduce content to the Internet if you are concerned with recording yourself on video. I also found that Story Jumper and Little Bird Tales would be a great tool to use when you have students who can talk but then struggle with writing. Both of these sites have a free basic service to use if you want to test the Podcast waters and get students comfortable with recording themselves. I think using Canva publishing and Spreaker podcast are a great marriage for a student to use for a book report or any other major project.
