This week I learned about Publishing and the various options offered. I will say starting off I felt overwhelmed and confused. I wasn't really sure what Publishing was and how it would be relevant in the classroom. After really digging into the various platforms, I found myself completely immersed into the world of publishing, and not in a cute efficient way. My daughter asked me to get off the internet and rest because I just couldn't stop playing with Canva. I also found out she uses Canva for her personal Instagram as well as doing fliers for her class. Canva was the publishing site that I ultimately ended up using but I really loved Play Postit, PearDeck, and Nearpod for the classroom. I feel impressed with my technology life at this moment- it isn't "lit' yet but surely it is smoldering. The most frustrating thing about learning and using so many innovative and cool applications is trying to figure out how to integrate it into your lesson design seamlessly while still learning more.
